I have a new student starting in November who seems to have worked exclusively in the Masterwork Classics 1-2 book. I mainly use Faber books. Does anyone have any idea which level MC, level 1-2, would be in the PA books?
Thanks for any info,
Sandra

I start assigning the easiest pieces from Masterwork Classics 1-2 when students are in PA 1. These are pieces without 8th notes. Students continue to work from it through PA 2B. The harder selections have hand position changes, I-IV-V7 type progressions in key of G & F, ledger lines, etc.

Overall, I would say the book ranges from PA 1-2B.
